Lorematch is a video game trivia game built around one mechanic: a screenshot reveals in six stages, getting clearer over time. You type your guess. The faster you recognize the game, the better you score.

How it works

• Six reveal steps per puzzle. Start almost-fully-blurred, get clearer every few seconds.
• Three eras to choose from: Retro (pre-2006), Modern (2006+), or All.
• Daily challenge: three games, one try a day, same puzzles for everyone. No signup needed — play it right now.
• Account-free Daily, signup unlocks more. A free account unlocks unlimited play, persistent stats, the six-tier ranked ladder (Bronze → Loremaster), and unlockable titles/avatar borders.

Where this came from

I built Lorematch to play with friends in a group chat — a way to settle which of us actually knew the games we kept talking about. It ended up being more fun than I expected, so I cleaned it up and put it online. Now you can play too.
